I hold a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia and am a Registered Speech Language Pathologist (R.SLP) by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C. (CSHHPBC). I am also a member of our provincial organization, Speech and Hearing BC, and our national organization, Speech-Language & Audiology Canada. I have experience working with children in a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, and child development centers.
I am passionate about improving preschool and school-aged children’s ability to communicate using a play-based and family centered approach. I have worked with children with a variety of speech and language disorders, including children with expressive and receptive language delays, speech sound disorders, Down syndrome, cleft lip and palate, and those using alternative and augmentative communication systems. I have a special interest in autism and social communication challenges.
